Where can I buy tickets from?
Tickets are available from GPAC: 50 Little Malop Street Geelong: Ph: 5225 1200 or online at www.gpac.org.au
Direct from Acorn Productions. Either send cheque or money order to Acorn Productions: 4 Tarring Crt, Highton VIC 3216 or telephone 5247 1986 or 0422 405 977 to arrange pick up. Tickets to all up-coming concerts are available to purchase on concert days.
Can we buy tickets at the door on the day of the concert?
Yes subject to availability. It is recommended that tickets are purchased prior to concert day to avoid disappointment. Concerts in the past have sold out.
Are EFTPOS or credit facilities available at the venue?
Yes. The university has installed an ANZ ATM on the first floor and it’s available for all patrons to use. The MAX Hotel in Gheringhap Street opposite the university also has EFTPOS facilities.
Where is Deakin Waterfront Café?
The café is situated inside Deakin University’s Woolstores Campus on Western Beach Road in Geelong. The entrance to the café is approx 40 metres east of the corner of Gheringhap Street and Western Beach Road and is directly opposite the children’s playground on the foreshore.

Is seating available for everyone?
Deakin Waterfront Café has seating for approx 450 patrons however some shows attract bigger audiences leaving standing room only.
Can we reserve a table?
Yes. Limited table bookings are available for groups of four or more people. All enquiries ph: 5247 1986.
Your table will be clearly marked ‘RESERVED’ on concert day.
Please note: Tables may only be reserved direct through Acorn Productions.
Where can we park while attending a concert?
Ample free parking is available within 200 metres of the venue and is located opposite the Max Hotel in Smythe Street.
Can we BYO alcohol to Deakin Waterfront Cafe?
No BYO alcohol is permitted at Acorn concerts. The venue is fully licensed and the bar has a great selection of beverages to choose from.
Can I buy a meal at the Café?
Yes. We arrange for the café operators to open as we open the doors to the public. Food available for purchase ranges from light snacks & platters to basic meals.
Can we bring children to concerts and shows?
Children are welcome at most concerts. Acorn has a variety of shows and concerts suitable for children however some performers may use language you would prefer your child did not hear.
Please note: The Cafe is a licensed venue and children accompanying their parent/s are expected to behave in a manner that does not impede on other patron’s enjoyment.
Children aged 3 - 15 cost $15 while kids under 2 are free
